Arsenal Sets Conditions for Osimhen Transfer
Arsenal continues its efforts to sign a new striker before the summer transfer window closes, following complications in their attempts to acquire Argentine Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Arsenal has contacted Atletico Madrid to discuss the terms for signing Alvarez, but the high value of the deal, along with the player's desire to move to Barcelona, complicates negotiations.
In this context, Nigerian Victor Osimhen has become a strong option for Arsenal. According to "Foot Mercato," the English club is interested in signing the Galatasaray striker, but they require a reduction in his financial demands, as he currently earns over €20 million annually after taxes.
Arsenal understands that Victor Osimhen's current salary represents a barrier to completing the deal, especially since the club does not wish to make an excessively high financial offer for the player.
Victor Osimhen boasts an impressive scoring record with Galatasaray, having netted 63 goals in 77 appearances since joining the Turkish side.
In contrast, Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's manager, confirmed his satisfaction with the current squad, noting that the primary focus is on developing the players already present.
