Ian Wright Criticizes Arsenal's Treatment of Martinelli

Ian Wright, the Arsenal legend, has criticized the club's handling of Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli, emphasizing that the player is not receiving enough clarity regarding his future with the team.

Ian Wright spoke to Sky Sports following Arsenal's 3-0 victory over Coventry City, expressing his discontent regarding Gabriel Martinelli's situation, who was absent from the team's lineup amid growing speculation about his departure.

Wright said: "It really makes me feel uncomfortable. He always gives 100%, and we're not saying he's the greatest player, but he has created big moments for Arsenal in important matches."

He added: "The way he is being treated right now... I know they might want him to leave, and many are saying it's time for his transfer, but there are ways to do it that suit him as well."

This comes amid growing competition for the winger position at Arsenal following the arrival of Kristos Tzoulis, with reports suggesting that Martinelli may leave the club during the current transfer window.
