Odegaard: Team Quality is Amazing, Last Season was Tough for Me

Martin Odegaard, Arsenal's captain, confirmed that the team deserved the victory against Coventry with a score of 3-0 in the opening round of the Premier League, noting that the start was positive despite some areas needing improvement.

Odegaard said after the match: "It was good to score the first goal, as the first match can be tense. Coventry played well and caused us some difficulties, but after the goal, we took control of the game more."

He added: "We look in good shape, but we can still do better, especially regarding accuracy and decisiveness around the penalty area."

Arsenal's captain spoke about the strength of competition within the team, saying: "The quality of the team is amazing, and we see that every day in training. The level of competition in training is extremely high, and everyone is pushing each other forward."

Odegaard highlighted his physical condition after a season plagued by injuries, stating: "Last season was tough for me, as I suffered several injuries and was in and out of the lineup. Now I feel good, my body is in the best shape, and I had a good preparation period."
