Disasi Joins Crystal Palace on Loan

Crystal Palace has reached a verbal agreement with Chelsea to loan French defender Axel Disasi, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Axel Disasi underwent medical examinations with Crystal Palace this morning, Friday, in preparation for his official transfer to the team, following an agreement between the two clubs on a loan deal.

According to the details, Chelsea will receive a fee for the loan of the French defender, while Crystal Palace will fully cover the player's salary for the duration of his time with the team.

Malang Disasi's transfer to Crystal Palace comes after he fell out of favor at Chelsea, having not featured for the team since January 2025. He previously had loan spells at Aston Villa and West Ham United.

Crystal Palace hopes that Disasi will be a strong addition to their defensive line, especially after the departures of Maxence Lacroix to Chelsea and Marc Guéhi to Manchester City. The French defender is looking to regain stability and play regularly during the new season.
