Qatar's Al-Shamal Signs Pablo Mari

Qatar's Al-Shamal has announced the official signing of Spanish defender Pablo Mari, who will join the first team for the upcoming 2026-2027 season.

Mari, standing at about 193 cm, has signed his contract with Al-Shamal and will join the team's training in preparation for the start of their journey in the QNB Stars League, where they face Al-Arabi today, Friday, in the opening round.

Pablo Mari plays as a center-back and is known for his left-footed playing style. He has extensive experience through his stints with several clubs, most notably Arsenal, Flamengo, Fiorentina, and Al Hilal.

Al-Shamal hopes that the Spanish defender will be a strong addition to their backline, benefiting from his extensive experience in European and Arab leagues.
