Speculation is rising regarding the future of Liam Delap, Chelsea's striker, as the player has caught the attention of three English clubs looking to secure his services during the current summer transfer window.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, and Everton are keeping an eye on Liam Delap's situation and are showing interest in signing him, as they look to strengthen their attacking line before the transfer window closes.

Chelsea is asking for £50 million to agree to the sale of the 23-year-old striker, while interested clubs feel that a figure closer to £40 million would be more appropriate to finalize the deal.

Delap joined Chelsea last summer from Ipswich Town for £30 million, but he has failed to deliver the expected performance in his first season at Stamford Bridge.

The English forward scored only one goal in the Premier League last season, despite being a starter in 12 matches. Injuries also impacted his consistency with the team.

Delap missed 14 matches last season due to a hamstring injury, along with another injury to his shoulder, which restricted his appearances and impacted his chances to prove himself in a Chelsea shirt.
