Al Ahly Doctor Reveals Belamri's Surgery Date

Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, head of the medical staff at Al Ahly, has announced the date for Youssef Belaïli's surgery after he suffered a torn ACL during the recent training camp in Spain.

Gab Allah stated in comments reported by Al Ahly's website: "Belhamri will undergo arthroscopic surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament on August 27, under the supervision of German surgeon Christian Brall, at a hospital in Munich."

Al Ahly's doctor stated: "Dr. Alaa Mamoun, the deputy head of the medical staff, will accompany Belahmri during travel."

Belhamri suffered an injury during the friendly match between Al Ahly and Spanish side Badalona, which took place on Wednesday, August 12. Medical examinations later confirmed that he has a tear in his cruciate ligament.
