Arsenal has made its stance clear regarding the future of young player Ethan Nwaneri, deciding not to allow his permanent departure during the current summer transfer window, while remaining open to a loan deal to provide him with more opportunities for playing time.

According to BBC, Arsenal is currently prioritizing offers for the loan of Nwaneri, 19, who has been linked with a move to Milan, along with several other European clubs.

Arsenal is not currently considering the idea of permanently selling Nwaneri, as the club is keen to retain the player. However, they believe that a loan move could help him gain more playing minutes in the upcoming season.

Ethan Nwaneri has scored 10 goals in 51 official matches for Arsenal's first team, but his chances of regular participation seem limited due to strong competition in the attacking line, with Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, Tzolis, Eze, and Kai Havertz all vying for spots.

Nwaneri spent the second half of the 2025/2026 season on loan at French club Marseille, where he scored two goals in nine appearances in Ligue 1.

The source indicated that Nwaneri is a candidate for another loan move, with interest from Milan, Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and Fulham.
