Aston Villa Targets Chelsea's Adarabioyo as Konsa Replacement

Tosin Adarabioyo, Chelsea's defender, has emerged as a target for Aston Villa to replace Ezri Konsa, who is on the verge of leaving the club for Arsenal during the current transfer window.

Sky Sports has reported that Aston Villa is keen on signing Aderabioyo as one of the options to replace Konsa, following Arsenal's agreement to a £51 million deal for the English defender.

Tosin Adarabioyo, 28, is one of the names being considered by Aston Villa, especially as Chelsea is willing to listen to offers for his services, amid the club's ongoing efforts to trim the squad under manager Xabi Alonso.

TEAMtalk reports that Chelsea is open to selling Tosin Adarabioyo, as Marseille, Benfica, and Sevilla have expressed interest in the defender. This could intensify the competition for his signature in the upcoming transfer window.

Adarabioyo represents a suitable option for Aston Villa, given his experience in the Premier League and his physical capabilities, along with the potential for him to contribute quickly to the team without a lengthy adaptation period.

However, Aston Villa may need another defender alongside Adarabioyo to compensate for Konsa's versatility, who can play as a center-back and right-back, while the Chelsea defender prefers to play in the center-back position.
