Belamri Travels to Austria for Cruciate Surgery

Moroccan player Youssef Belaili of Al Ahly is heading to Austria in the coming hours to undergo surgery on his ACL, following a recent injury as reported by media outlets.

According to reports, Youssef Belaili will not return to Cairo with the Al Ahly delegation, which arrived this morning, Thursday, from Spain after the team's pre-season training camp.

Al Ahly has concluded its external training camp in Spain, which started on August 6 to prepare for the new football season. The camp included the team playing three friendly matches.

Al Ahly opened their friendly matches with a 3-0 victory over Badalona, before suffering a 2-1 defeat against Europa. The team concluded their training camp with a match against Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy.

Al Ahly lost to Barcelona in the match with a score of 2-1, where Ahmed Mostafa Zizo scored the only goal for the Red team.
