Reports have emerged that clubs from the Saudi Pro League have entered the race to sign French midfielder Paul Pogba, following his official departure from Monaco during the current summer transfer window.

Monaco has announced that it has reached an agreement with French midfielder Paul Pogba to end the contractual relationship between the two parties by mutual consent, making Pogba a free agent after just one season with the club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Paul Pogba has received calls from clubs in the Saudi Pro League in recent weeks, along with interest from teams in Major League Soccer.

The French player has the freedom to choose his next destination after becoming a free agent, with expectations of finalizing his future in the near term, given the multiple offers available to him.

Paul Pogba's contract with Monaco was set to run until June 2027, but both parties have agreed to terminate it by mutual consent, bringing his time at the club to an early end.

The French midfielder has struggled to regain his former level since returning to the pitch, following the end of his suspension related to a doping case that kept him out of competition for over two years.

Saudi Pro League clubs are eagerly awaiting Paul Pogba's final decision, given his extensive experience on both international and European stages. Meanwhile, Major League Soccer is competing to secure the signature of the seasoned French player.
