Malcom Sends Special Message to Cancelo After Leaving Al Hilal for Barcelona

Brazilian Malcom Philip has bid farewell to his teammate João Cancelo with a special message, following the latter's departure from Al Hilal and his official transfer to Spanish giants Barcelona.

Malcom took to Instagram to bid farewell to Cancelo, wishing him success and happiness in his new venture with the Catalan club.

The star of Al Hilal wrote in his message: "Best wishes to you always, my brother, good luck Cancelo, and I wish you all the happiness in the world, warrior."

João Cancelo's departure from Al Hilal came after he agreed to forgo a large part of his financial entitlements with the club, in order to finalize the procedures and secure a financial settlement ahead of his return to Barcelona.

The Portuguese full-back had previously played for Barcelona on loan, before returning to the Catalan club after ending his association with Al Hilal during the current summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, Al Hilal's management continues to work on strengthening the squad with several new signings, based on the needs of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi.

Al Hilal hopes to finalize their transfer dealings in a manner that meets Inzaghi's demands, especially as the team aims to compete strongly across various tournaments in the upcoming season.
