Salah begins his journey with Trabzonspor with a draw against Kasımpaşa

Mohamed Salah has officially started his journey with Trabzonspor, drawing 1-1 against Kasımpaşa in the match that took place on Saturday evening as part of the first round of the Turkish league for the 2026-2027 season.

Mohamed Salah started the match on the bench before coming on in the 58th minute, marking his official debut in the Trabzonspor shirt after joining the Turkish side on a free transfer following the end of his contract with Liverpool.

Trabzonspor took the lead in the first half, before Kasımpaşa equalised, and the match ended without either team able to snatch a winning goal.

Mohamed Salah had a clear attacking presence, threatening the goal of Kasımpaşa and creating several dangerous opportunities, but he was unable to find the net in his first appearance, leaving Trabzonspor with just one point at the start of their Turkish league campaign.
