Wigan Close to Securing Loan Deal for Luke Harris
Wigan Athletic is close to finalizing the race to sign attacking midfielder Luke Harris, coming from Fulham, on loan during the current transfer window.
According to reports, Wigan has outpaced several clubs interested in the player's services and is on track to finalize the transfer, with the club hopeful of completing the formalities over the weekend.
Harris has previous experience in the English Championship, having had loan spells with Exeter City, Birmingham City, and Oxford United, before playing with Wycombe Wanderers last season.
Wigan is searching for ways to enhance its attacking options after the departure of Hindolo Mustafa, as the club sees Harris as a player capable of adding creativity and offensive solutions to the midfield, with solid experience in the Championship.
The deal is set to be officially concluded in the next few days, allowing Harris to embark on a new experience with Wigan, in an effort to secure regular playing minutes and continue his development away from Fulham.
