Al Ahly Prepares Visa for Youssef Belaïli's Surgery in Austria
According to "Youm7" newspaper, Al Ahly is set to complete the travel arrangements for their Moroccan player Youssef Belahmar to Austria, where he will undergo cruciate ligament surgery in the coming days.
Dr. Ahmed Jaballah, head of the medical staff for Al Ahly's first football team, confirmed that player Youssef Belaïli underwent medical examinations and an MRI scan, which revealed a tear in his anterior cruciate ligament. He stated that the timing for the player's surgery is currently being determined for the upcoming period.
The newspaper reported that Al Ahly's medical team is arranging all medical details for Youssef Belaïli's surgery in Austria, and the player will begin a long recovery journey lasting several months immediately after the operation.
The loss of player Belhamri due to injury presents an early obstacle for coach Hussein Amoutta, who had planned to rely on him as a key solution for the left flank crisis in the upcoming season.
