Al Ahly officials are considering excluding Youssef Belaïli from the squad for the current season, following the shock of his cruciate ligament tear, according to statements made by media figure Ahmed Hassan.

Hassan explained on his personal Facebook account that the Red administration is strongly considering removing Youssef Belamri from the squad, aiming to free up a space that would allow them to sign a foreign midfielder as a replacement during the current transfer window.

Al Ahly has announced that their Moroccan player Youssef Belaili has suffered a torn ACL after undergoing medical examinations and an MRI.

Dr. Ahmed Jaballah, head of the medical staff at Ahli Club, stated that the tests conducted on Belhamri revealed a tear in the cruciate ligament, confirming that the player will need surgical intervention.
