Official: Barcelona Opens New Academy in Tunisia

Barcelona has officially announced the opening of a new football academy in Tunisia, making it the club's 29th academy worldwide. This move is part of the Catalan club's strategy to expand its presence and enhance its talent development project outside of Spain.

This move comes after the significant turnout at the summer camps organized by Barcelona in Tunisia during June and July, where the club previously held an official training camp in the Tunisian capital from June 22 to July 3.

Barcelona's new academy players are set to train at the Cartage Municipal Stadium, while the Catalan club will send a coaching director to Tunisia to ensure the implementation of Barcelona's training methodology within the academy.

The agreement was finalized between the officials of Barcelona Academy and the local partner representative in Tunisia, as part of the club's global project aimed at discovering and developing young talents according to the 'La Masia' style and methodology.

The Tunis Academy comes just days after Barcelona confirmed the reopening of its official academy in Egypt, as the club's management continues to expand its network of academies worldwide and reach more talents across the African continent.
