Barcelona Eyes Nicolo Tresoldi as Alternative Forward Option
Young German striker Nicolo Tresoldi, currently with Club Brugge, has caught the attention of Barcelona, who are exploring the possibility of signing him during the current summer transfer window, according to Sport.
Barcelona's interest in Trisoldi comes as the club seeks to bolster their striker position, with Julián Álvarez remaining one of the team's primary targets. At the same time, the Catalan club is exploring alternatives in case their attempts to secure the Argentine forward falter.
Reports indicate that Barcelona's sporting management has contacted Tressoldi's camp to inquire about the player's situation and the possibility of a transfer, especially with the limited time remaining in the transfer window. The player is viewed as a promising forward capable of development, having caught attention with his performances at Club Brugge.
Treisoldi is 21 years old and plays as a striker. He joined Club Brugge from Hannover 96 in the summer of 2025 on a contract that runs until 2029. He has also participated with the Belgian team in the Champions League, appearing against Barcelona last season.
Although Trisoldi is not Barcelona's primary target, the club has included him among alternative options to bolster their attack, awaiting the outcome of their moves regarding Alvarez in the final stages of the transfer market.
