Crystal Palace Signs Tomiyasu on a Free Transfer

Crystal Palace has officially announced the signing of Japanese defender Takehiro Tomiyasu on a free transfer, bolstering their squad with significant defensive experience ahead of the new season.

Tomiyasu stated upon his arrival: "I am excited to get started. The club is experiencing a wonderful period, having won three titles in two seasons. This is where I wanted to be."

Club President Steve Parish welcomed the signing, emphasizing that Tomiyasu has extensive experience at the highest levels of European and international football, expressing the club's happiness in acquiring a player "of this caliber."

Barish added that Crystal Palace is confident the Japanese defender will be a strong addition to the team, in a new move to strengthen their ranks with a player capable of covering multiple positions in the backline.
