Official: Al Taawoun Signs Belaili
Saudi club Al Taawoun announced today, Monday, the official signing of Algerian defender Zinedine Belaid, with a contract extending until the summer of 2029, to strengthen the team's squad in preparation for the new season.
The club shared a video on its official account on X to announce the signing, accompanied by the phrase: "From the peaks of the mountains to the den of the wolves," in a special presentation for the new player.
Belaili has a remarkable experience in Algerian and European football, having previously represented clubs such as Nasr Hussein Dey, CR Belouizdad, and JS Kabylie, before embarking on a professional stint with Sint-Truiden in Belgium.
Taa'won hopes that the Algerian defender will provide a strong addition to their backline, given the experience he has gained throughout his career with clubs and the Algerian national team.
