The club shared a brief message on its official platforms, stating: "Good luck, Jesse!" in farewell to one of the standout talents from its academy.
Barcelona has officially announced the signing of Pesio, an 18-year-old talent, on a contract that extends until June 30, 2031, in a deal worth approximately €8.5 million, with Club Brugge retaining 20% of any future sale value of the player.
Club Brugge praised the role the player played during his formative years at the club, expressing pride in one of their academy graduates reaching Barcelona. Meanwhile, Pesio has already started his first training sessions with the Catalan team, initially set to join Barcelona Athletic while also getting opportunities to train with the first team under Hans Flick.
Bessieo is considered one of the most promising rising talents in Belgium, having caught attention with his speed and dribbling skills during his appearances with the youth teams at Club Brugge. This has prompted Barcelona to act swiftly to finalize the deal as part of the club's strategy to attract promising young talents for the future.
