Al Ahly Renews Young Star Mohamed Abdullah's Contract

According to "Youm7" newspaper, Al Ahly's management has decided to secure their young player Mohamed Abdullah with a new and improved contract, cutting off the path for both local and foreign clubs that have shown interest in signing him recently.

The newspaper reported that Mohamed Abdullah has returned to Al Ahly following the end of his loan period at Ceramica Cleopatra. Ceramica's request to sign him permanently or extend the loan was rejected, as was the offer from Swiss club Zurich. This Swiss interest came on the recommendation of Marcel Koller, the former Al Ahly coach and current head coach of Zurich, who has complete confidence in the player's abilities.

Al Ahly's management has rejected any offers to part ways with their young winger, as they wish to rely on him for the upcoming season. They are also looking to extend and modify his contract, considering him one of the promising talents they want to retain for many years.

On the other hand, Al Ahly is preparing to face their Spanish counterparts Barcelona on August 19 at Spotify Camp Nou, as part of the 61st edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy.
