Al-Zawraa Imposes Disciplinary Action on Amir Abdullah

The administrative body of Al-Zawraa Club has decided to impose disciplinary sanctions on first-team player Amir Abdullah, following his repeated absences from team training and his failure to attend the external preparation camp, in a move that underscores the management's commitment to internal disciplinary regulations.

The management based its decision on a technical report submitted by the team's head coach, Captain Bassem Qassem, which indicated that Amir Abdullah had missed training sessions in Baghdad for three consecutive days without providing any justification.

The report also included that the player did not travel with the team to the training camp in the Arab Republic of Egypt, despite being officially informed of the joining date.

Based on that, the management of "Al-Nawaris" has decided the following:

A fine of 10% has been imposed on the player from the value of the first payment received along with his teammates.

The club is enforcing all penalties associated with previous absences recorded against the player, in accordance with the club's internal instructions and regulations.

The administration confirmed that these measures are aimed at preserving "the discipline of the group, the stability of the team, and its unity" before the start of the new season, emphasizing that no one is above the system within the white castle.

In related news, Al-Zawraa's management has categorically denied the circulating reports regarding the club's intention to sell or loan the player to any of the Iraqi Premier League clubs.

A brief statement read: "Player Amir Abdullah is not available for sale or loan to any club. The team needs his technical services, and the rumors circulating in this regard are unfounded."

Al-Zawraa's management appears determined to tackle the discipline file early, especially with the resumption of collective training and preparations for the new season approaching. The message was clear: commitment is a prerequisite for continuation, even if the player is one of the influential names technically.
