Al Ahly Bank President: We’ve Renewed Osama Faisal's Contract for 4 Seasons

Al Ahly Bank has announced that striker Osama Faisal will remain with the team for four more seasons after renewing his contract. Club president Ashraf Nassar dispelled rumors regarding the player's departure, confirming that no official letters or friendly communications from other clubs have been received to purchase his contract in the current summer transfer window, including Al Ahly, which has recently been linked with the player.

Ashraf Nassar stated in an interview with ON Sport: "Osama Faisal's name always comes up during every summer or winter transfer window, but we have not received any official or friendly offers to sell the player. I spoke with him after the numerous discussions about offers, and he confirmed that he has not received any offers either and wishes to stay at Ahli Bank. We have renewed his contract to keep him with us for four more seasons."

He added: "Al Ahly has never approached us to sign Osama Faisal, nor have they spoken to the player. Osama Faisal is a great player and was the second top scorer last season. If we receive an offer for his departure, we will consider the offer and the player's wishes at that time, and we will set his price then. However, Osama Faisal is one of our key players, and we are not thinking about his departure at the moment."

Regarding the preference of Bank Al Ahly to sell its players to Zamalek rather than Al Ahly, Ashraf Nassar said: "I always hear this talk, but it is not true. What matters to me in this matter is the interest of Bank Al Ahly."
