Barcelona Renew Interest in Signing Kroby

The name of French striker Ely Junior Kroubi has returned to Barcelona's table, as the sporting management has decided to reactivate the option to sign him during the summer transfer window, according to Sport.

According to the report, the Catalan club sees Kruby as one of the alternatives should the deal for Argentine striker Julian Alvarez falter, who remains the primary target to strengthen the attacking line.

Despite Barcelona's ongoing interest, the Alvarez deal appears complicated at this time, as Atletico Madrid is adamant about retaining the player and has refused to open negotiations regarding his departure. This comes despite previous statements from the Argentine forward expressing his desire for a new experience and fulfilling his dream of a transfer.

The young player has been linked with several European clubs this summer, but the English club is not considering his departure.

Kroby has played 35 matches with Bournemouth and scored 13 goals. His contract runs until 2030, and his market value is estimated at around €70 million.
