Marseille Joins Race for Rachid Ghezzal
The battle to secure Algerian international Rafiq Belghali intensified during the summer transfer window, as Olympique Marseille submitted an official bid to Hellas Verona, aiming to finalize the signing of the Algerian defender before the new season kicks off.
According to journalist Ikram Konour, the French club has proposed to sign Bahlouli on loan, including a clause that grants them the right to buy for €13 million. However, Hellas Verona's management has not yet accepted the offer, insisting on receiving €15 million for the player's departure.
Marseille isn't the only club interested in Bougherra, as Roma and Inter Milan are also keeping tabs on his situation with Verona. Both Italian clubs are keen on signing the Algerian defender, awaiting the outcome of negotiations in the coming days.
Reports indicate that Rafik Belghali's future will be one of the key stories of the summer transfer window, as Hellas Verona remains firm on his financial valuation. Meanwhile, interested clubs are determined to reach an agreement to secure one of the most promising Algerian talents emerging in European football.
