Fiorentina Joins Race for Mastantuono

Fiorentina has joined the list of clubs interested in signing Argentine Franco Mastantuono during the current summer transfer window, following Real Madrid's approval for his loan move without a purchase option.

According to "Sport," citing "Calcio Mercato," the Italian club has made the player a priority to bolster their attacking line.

The report indicated that Fiorentina and Mastantonio are striving to make up for last season, after the Italian team finished the league in fifteenth place. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old player managed to score only three goals in 35 matches during his first season with Real Madrid.

Fiorentina is not the only club interested in Mustantuno, as Fulham, led by Álvaro Arbeloa, and Villarreal are also competing to sign the River Plate academy graduate during the current transfer window.

Fiorentina will have a chance to closely observe the player when they face Real Madrid on August 1 as part of both teams' preparations for the new season.

The report confirmed that Real Madrid is insisting on loaning the player without a purchase option, in order to protect their rights and his future with the club, given the management's confidence in his abilities and their desire to give him a chance to gain more experience.
