Official: Zaniolo Extends Contract with Udinese
Udinese has announced the renewal of Italian playmaker Nicolò Zaniolo's contract until the summer of 2029, with options to extend the deal until 2031, in a move that underscores the club's confidence in his future.
Udinese has previously activated the purchase option for the player from Galatasaray for €5 million, following a successful loan period during which Zaniolo delivered impressive performances, scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists in 33 matches.
Zaniolo is considered one of the cornerstones of coach Costa Roncaglia's project, as the club relies on him to continue developing and competing for a spot in European competitions in the upcoming seasons.
This renewal also serves as an important stability point in the player's career, following his moves between several clubs in recent years, most notably Roma, Galatasaray, Aston Villa, Atalanta, and Fiorentina, before finally finding his place at Udinese.
