ES Sétif Signs Jordanian Defender Hadi Al-Hourani on Two-Year Deal

Algerian club ES Setif is close to bolstering its defense by signing Jordanian defender Hadi Al-Hourani, a former player of Al-Faisaly, after both parties reached a final agreement for his joining the team during the current summer transfer window.

According to "Win Win" website, Horrani has arrived in Algeria to complete the transfer procedures to Sétif Club, where he will undergo medical examinations before signing a two-year contract, paving the way for the official announcement of the deal.

Hawarani's selection comes despite receiving several offers in recent times, with interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as well as teams from the Jordanian league. However, he preferred to embark on a new experience with ES Sétif after being convinced by the sporting project presented by the club's management.

The same source added that the Jordanian defender received an enticing financial offer from a UAE club before traveling to Algeria, but he chose to continue his negotiations with CR Belouizdad, prioritizing the sporting aspect above all.

The management of the Algerian club is betting on the experience that Hoorani possesses and his technical and physical capabilities to enhance the defensive system, convinced of his ability to make a difference thanks to his strong personality and discipline on the pitch.

The signing of the Jordanian defender aligns with ES Setif's strategy to bolster the team with players from various football schools, while also taking advantage of the progress seen in Jordanian football in recent years, and the attributes that its players possess which meet the demands of the Algerian league.

Al-Hourani will join ES Sétif on a free transfer after his contract with Al-Faisaly ended, following stalled negotiations between the two parties regarding contract renewal.

The club's sporting director, Fred Melouli, played a significant role in finalizing the deal, having closely monitored the player and recommended to the management to sign him, convinced of his abilities and potential to strengthen the team's defense for the upcoming season.
