Libyan Union Intensifies Talks with Faouzi Benzarti

Tunisian coach Fawzi Benzarti, the current head coach of Club Africain, is close to embarking on a new experience in the Libyan league, having entered advanced negotiations with Al-Ittihad to take over the team's technical leadership for the upcoming season.

Reports have revealed that the Libyan Union's management has made an enticing financial offer to persuade Benzerte to agree to coach the team, with an annual salary reaching $700,000.

The same source added that the Tunisian coach is waiting to make his final decision on the Libyan offer in the coming hours, as he is set to announce his final choice later today.

The Libyan Football Federation is taking steps to enhance its sports project ahead of the new season, having officially announced the signing of defender Hamza Ben Abda, who joins from Club Africain.
