Spain's defender Pau Torres expressed his immense happiness after qualifying for the 2026 World Cup final following a 2-0 victory over France, affirming that the team is in a state of excitement and confidence ahead of the final match.
Koparci stated in a press interview: "We are extremely excited. The work we have done over the past months has been fantastic, and we come to the tournament at a very high level. We are a big family, and now comes the toughest stage, which is the final, but I am confident in our ability to overcome it successfully."
The young defender spoke about the national team's defensive performance, saying: "We are providing a very good level in defense, but the credit doesn't go to the defenders alone; everyone helps us, whether in matches or training, even the players on the bench. This competition within the team keeps making us better continuously."
Speaking about reaching the World Cup final at the age of nineteen, he stated: "It's really amazing, but I don't think I've fully grasped its true magnitude yet."
He concluded by expressing his ongoing desire for development, stating: "I always try to improve at every moment, whether in matches or training, and I will continue to work and move forward."
