Juventus Sets Price for Khephren Thuram Amid Premier League Interest
French midfielder Khephren Thuram has begun his preparations for the new season early, returning to individual training at Juventus' training center ahead of the official team gathering under Luciano Spalletti. This move reflects his desire to be fully ready as the season kicks off.
Although Juventus management does not wish to part ways with the player, they do not consider him unsellable, especially given the growing interest in his services during the summer transfer window, alongside the potential for significant financial gains from any possible deal.
According to Tuttosport, the club has received serious inquiries from Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, and Sunderland, but these clubs have pulled back after learning the price Juventus has set for the player.
Juventus has set a €50 million fee for Thuram, a figure that English clubs currently deem too high, particularly for a permanent transfer. The Italian club signed the player from Nice for €20 million, meaning selling him at this price would yield substantial profits for the club.
