Roma Turns to Dan Ndoye After Greenwood Deal Falls Through
Roma is on the lookout for an attacking alternative after failing to secure a deal for Englishman Mason Greenwood from Marseille, shifting their focus to Swiss international Dan Ndoye, winger for Nottingham Forest.
According to Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Roma could not reach an agreement with Marseille, which is holding out for €50 million for Greenwood, despite a preliminary agreement between the player and the Italian club regarding personal terms.
The report added that Turkish club Fenerbahçe has taken the lead in the race by offering an annual salary between €8 and €10 million, surpassing Roma's proposal.
Furthermore, it was noted that Roma has prioritized Dan Ndoye, who joined Nottingham Forest last summer for a fee of €40 million, plus bonuses.
The report clarified that Ndoye has not established himself in the starting lineup during the 2025/2026 season, prompting Nottingham Forest to consider selling him, especially as his market value has decreased in recent weeks.
