Michael Oliver to Officiate Spain vs Belgium Match
FIFA has announced the officiating team for the upcoming quarter-final clash between Spain and Belgium in the 2026 World Cup, scheduled for Friday evening at the Los Angeles stadium.
The English referee Michael Oliver, one of the most prominent officials in European and international football in recent years, has been appointed to oversee the match due to his extensive experience in managing major games.
Oliver will be assisted by Stuart Burt as the first assistant referee and James Mainwaring as the second assistant referee, while Ramon Abati has been designated as the fourth official for the match.
