Monaco Director Hints at Pogba's Potential Exit

Thiago Scuro, the sporting director of AS Monaco, has cast uncertainty over French star Paul Pogba's future with the team during the current summer transfer window.

Scuro stated in comments reported by Spanish newspaper AS: "Can he leave? Yes, of course. He might leave, or he might stay. It's a very complicated situation."

He concluded, "The truth is that the project with him did not go well last season. When we started, the expectations were different."

Pogba joined Monaco last summer on a free transfer after a lengthy absence due to a doping case he was implicated in, before returning to the pitch.

The French star has played only 6 matches in all competitions with Monaco, due to physical and technical issues that have affected his continuity with the team.

Scuro's remarks open the door to the possibility of Pogba's departure this summer, as Monaco's management continues to assess available options regarding the player's future, with several clubs closely monitoring his situation.
