Barcelona Intensifies Talks to Sign Club Brugge Talent

Barcelona is intensifying its efforts to sign young Belgian winger Jesse Pisio from Club Brugge, having prioritized him to strengthen their squad with young talents.

According to Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," the Catalan club has increased its communications with Club Brugge to persuade them to agree to the transfer after their initial offer for the player was rejected.

The report states that João Amaral, the head of scouting, and Deco, Barcelona's sporting director, have been directly involved in the negotiations and traveled to Belgium to discuss the deal with the club's officials, as the sporting management is convinced of the player's technical and physical abilities and his promising future.

Pisio's contract with Club Brugge runs until the summer of 2027, and while the player is keen on moving to Barcelona, the Belgian club is reluctant to let him go. However, the same source noted that Pisio lost his starting position in the UEFA Youth League semi-final against Real Madrid, participating only in the final minutes, which was seen as a message from the club's management regarding his future.

Barcelona plans to provide Pisio with opportunities to transition between the reserve team and the first team, especially with the potential departure of Rony Bardhi, while the completion of this transfer could impact the club's interest in signing Jan Vergili from Real Mallorca.

This move to acquire Pisio is part of Barcelona's strategy to attract young talents, having recently completed several signings of promising players from various clubs.
