Arsenal Secures Illan Meslier Transfer

Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the transfer of French goalkeeper Illan Meslier to Arsenal, using his famous phrase "Here We Go" after all deal procedures were completed, making him the new keeper for the Gunners.

According to Romano, Meslier successfully passed his medical examination in London and has already signed his contract with Arsenal, officially concluding the deal after reaching a full agreement among all parties. The French goalkeeper joins the London club on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Leeds United.

Meslier has agreed to Arsenal's project, where he is expected to strengthen the goalkeeper position, potentially taking on the role of second or third keeper, depending on the future of Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga during the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old French goalkeeper has significant experience in English football, having played over 200 matches for Leeds United, contributing to the team's promotion to the Premier League on two occasions before deciding to take on a new challenge with Arsenal in preparation for the upcoming season.
