Reports indicate that Portuguese coach José Mourinho plans to give young defender Víctor Valdebebas a chance to prove himself during the pre-season preparations before making a final decision regarding his future with Real Madrid.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Mourinho wants to closely evaluate the player during the training camp, deciding later whether he will remain with the first team or leave on loan or be sold.

The report adds that Fiorentina is leading the list of clubs interested in acquiring the young Spanish defender if Real Madrid decides not to keep him in their plans for the upcoming season.

Valdebebas, 19, has made only one appearance for Real Madrid's first team, which was against Deportivo Alavés in La Liga last season, where he delivered a standout performance that earned praise from the coaching staff.

The left-back is under contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2029 and is considered one of the most promising talents in the club's academy.
