Real Madrid Secures Player in World Cup Final
Real Madrid has ensured that at least one of its players will be in the 2026 World Cup final, following Belgium's advancement to the quarter-finals after defeating the United States in the Round of 16. This guarantees that several players from the royal club will continue competing for the title until the later stages.
According to "Mundo Deportivo," Belgium, led by goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, will face Spain, which includes Marc Cucurella, in the quarter-finals, while France, featuring Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Ibrahima Konaté, will meet Morocco, led by Ibrahim Díaz.
The winner of the Belgium-Spain clash will face the victor of the France-Morocco match in the semi-finals, ensuring at least one Real Madrid player reaches the final scheduled for July 19.
The royal club also has a chance to see one of its players crowned World Champion, depending on England's success, led by Jude Bellingham, in reaching the final.
To achieve this, the England team must overcome Norway in the quarter-finals and then win in the semi-finals to secure a spot in the final match.
