Spain Advances to World Cup Quarterfinals with Late Win Over Portugal

Spain secured a spot in the 2026 World Cup quarterfinals with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Portugal in a match held this evening at Dallas Stadium.

In the 90+1 minute, Spain scored the winning goal after a pass from Torres reached substitute Mikel Merino, who fired a low shot from inside the box into the net.
