Referee Team Announced for Spain vs Portugal World Cup Clash
FIFA has announced the officiating team for the Portugal vs Spain match, scheduled for Monday evening, as part of the Round of 16 in the 2026 World Cup, to be held at the Dallas Stadium.
The renowned English referee Anthony Taylor will officiate the highly anticipated clash, assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, while German referee Felix Zwayer will serve as the fourth official.
German Bastian Dankert will oversee the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) duties, with assistance from Spanish Antonio Garcia and Italian Marco Di Bello.
The match is set to kick off at 10:00 PM Cairo and Saudi Arabia time, as both teams vie for a spot in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup in one of the most exciting Round of 16 encounters.
