Petkovic: I Know Switzerland Well, We'll Prepare the Right Plan

Vladimir Petkovic, head coach of the Algerian national team, confirmed his deep knowledge of the Swiss team ahead of the upcoming clash in the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup, emphasizing that the coaching staff will work on preparing the best strategy for qualification.

Petkovic stated in comments highlighted by the official page of Al Kass channels that he is well aware of the Swiss team, despite recent changes in their lineup.

He said: "I know them well, even if there are some new faces."

He added: "Switzerland is a good team with a lot of experience, regularly participating in major European and world tournaments."

In this context, he confirmed: "I know their football philosophy well, and we will study this team carefully to prepare the best plan to continue our journey."
