Surprise in the Transfer Market: Esperance Opens Negotiations with Al-Musrati
Media reports have revealed that Tunisian sports club Espérance Sportive de Tunis has entered negotiations with Libyan international Muaid Ellafi, in what could be one of the most significant deals of the summer transfer market, given the player's substantial technical value and extensive European experience.
Moatasem Al-Musrati, aged 30, plays as a defensive midfielder and is valued at approximately 4.5 million euros. He began his career in the Libyan league before moving to Portugal, where he played with Vitória Guimarães and Rio Ave, before making a significant impact with Sporting Braga.
Later, Al-Musrati had experiences in several major European tournaments, playing with Turkish club Beşiktaş, French club Monaco, and Italian club Hellas Verona. This provided him with strong experience in handling the pace of continental matches and high-level leagues.
If the deal is completed, Al-Musrati is expected to provide a significant boost to the midfield of Esperance, thanks to his physical strength, precise passing, ability to intercept the ball and build play, in addition to his experience in European competitions which could support the team's ambitions both continentally and domestically.
