Inter Milan Insists on Signing Curtis Jones Despite Arsenal's Interest

Italian Inter Milan continues its attempts to sign Curtis Jones, Liverpool's midfielder, during the summer transfer window, despite Arsenal entering the competition to sign him.

The 'Football Italia' website indicated that Jones is one of Inter's main targets to strengthen the midfield and is admired by the coach Cristian Chivu, and the player is open to experiencing the Italian league.

Despite Inter's ongoing interest, Liverpool is holding firm on its financial demands, even though the player has only one year left on his contract. The Italian club has informed its English counterpart of its readiness to withdraw from the deal if the financial demands are not reduced.

Inter's sporting director confirmed that the club will try again to reach an agreement with Liverpool but will turn to other options if the two parties do not agree on a suitable financial evaluation.

The gap between the two clubs remains, as Inter offered 25 million euros, while Liverpool demands 40 million euros, an amount the Italian club does not intend to pay.

The same source added that Arsenal entered the race to sign Jones after other targets faltered, but the player prefers to move to San Siro, while communications continue between the representatives of the two clubs to try to reach an agreement.
