Juventus Presses to Sign Svilar from Roma
Juventus continues its efforts to sign Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar during the summer transfer window, having made an offer worth 35 million euros to acquire the Serbian goalkeeper, as part of the club's plan to strengthen the goalkeeper position.
According to reports, the Roma management rejected the offer, as they do not intend to let go of one of the team's top stars for less than 50 to 60 million euros, considering that Svilar's market value is much higher than the offer made by "The Old Lady."
Svilar is considered one of the key pillars of Roma, having delivered outstanding performances last season, which prompted the club's management to insist on his retention and not enter into serious negotiations unless an offer matching their financial valuation of the goalkeeper is received.
In the coming days, a new round of negotiations is expected, as Juventus is considering improving its offer to try to bridge the gap with Roma's demands. Meanwhile, the capital club's position remains clear so far, refusing to sell the goalkeeper for anything less than approximately 60 million euros.
