Dembele is the Second Fastest Hat-Trick in World Cup History
The French star Ousmane Dembélé entered the history books in the 2026 World Cup after scoring a hat-trick in 32 minutes during France's match against Norway, becoming the second fastest player to achieve a hat-trick in the tournament's history.
Only the Austrian Erich Probst preceded Dembélé in this achievement, having scored a hat-trick in 24 minutes against Czechoslovakia in the 1954 World Cup, a record that has stood for more than seven decades.
Dembele's hat-trick confirmed his outstanding performance with the French national team, as he led "Les Bleus" with an impressive attacking display.
He also became only the third French player to score a hat-trick in World Cup history, joining the list of legends who have achieved this feat in the global tournament.
