The Moroccan national team continued to make history in the World Cup finals, becoming the second African team to score four goals in a single match in the tournament, following their thrilling victory over Haiti with a score of (4-2) in the final round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.

The "Atlas Lions" entered the record of distinguished African teams in the World Cup after matching the achievement of the Algerian team in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, when they overwhelmed South Korea with a 4-2 victory in a match that ended with the "Greens" winning 4-2.

This figure reflects the remarkable development of the Moroccan national team on the offensive level, having succeeded in scoring six goals during the group stage, confirming its ability to compete with top teams and continue its journey confidently in the knockout stages.

This achievement also enhances Morocco's presence in World Cup records, as the "Atlas Lions" have become only the second African team to reach the milestone of scoring four goals in a single World Cup match, joining a short list led by the Algerian team since the 2014 edition.
