The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team achieved an important victory over its Qatari counterpart with a score of 3-1, in the match that brought them together in the third round of group stage competitions in the 2026 World Cup, earning three valuable points.

Karim Alaybegovic opened the scoring for the Bosnia and Herzegovina team in the 29th minute, before the team extended its lead just five minutes later, when Mahmoud Abu Nada scored an own goal in the 34th minute.

The Qatar team managed to narrow the score before the end of the first half, after Hassan Al-Haydos scored the first goal for the Al-Annabi team in the 42nd minute, giving his team hope of returning to the match in the second half.
