Esperance Signs Marwan Sahrawi to Strengthen Defense Line

The Tunisian sports club, Esperance de Tunis, has completed the signing of Tunisian international defender Marwan Sahraoui with a two-year contract, as part of strengthening the first football team's lineup in preparation for upcoming commitments.

The French-born Sahrawi plays as a central defender and is also capable of playing as a defensive midfielder or left-back, providing the coaching staff with multiple tactical options in the back line.

The player, who grew up at Esperance, had several professional experiences with French, Portuguese, and Belgian clubs, as well as four stints in Egypt, before joining Stade Tunisien in September 2023. There, he continued his career in the Tunisian league and delivered impressive performances.

This contract is part of Esperance's plan to strengthen its ranks with players who have local and international experience, while the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
