Roma Rejects PSV Eindhoven's Initial Offer to Buy Anas Salah-Eddine

Tuesday 23-06-2026
The management of the Italian club AS Roma has taken a decisive stance regarding the future of Moroccan international Anas Salah-Eddine, after rejecting the initial offer made by the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven to retain the player permanently and convert his loan into a permanent transfer during the current summer transfer window.

According to the Italian newspaper "Il Messaggero," the Dutch champion for the 2025-2026 season made an offer of 7.5 million euros to acquire the services of the Moroccan defender. However, the "Giallorossi" management deemed the proposed financial value below their expectations and decided not to agree to the deal.

The same source indicated that PSV Eindhoven has a clause in the agreement that grants them the right to purchase the player's contract for 8.5 million euros, which makes the financial difference between the offered amount and the specified sum limited. However, it was not sufficient to convince the officials of the Italian club.

Despite rejecting the initial offer, Roma's management does not close the door on the departure of Anas Salah El-Din, as they are willing to consider any new proposal that meets their financial conditions and aligns with their evaluation of the player.

The Eindhoven management is expected to return to the negotiating table in the coming weeks with an improved offer, hoping to reach a final agreement that ensures the continuation of the Moroccan international within the Dutch team.

It is noted that the Roma club also includes in its ranks the Moroccan international Naïl Aynaoui, who transferred to the Italian team from the French club Lens.
